Role Model

 For my role model, I have chosen Ferrucio Lamborghini, who founded the Lamborghini car company, which is famous. I have chosen Ferrucio Lamborghini because I like cars, and I think it is brave and interesting to found a company.

Mathematician study

WALT: conduct a study on two famous mathematicians.

Makey Makey

 
For this task Huia Whanau had to answer 3 questions about Makey Makey, a coding system that can be linked to everyday objects, however I don't really know much about Makey Makey, however it is a coding system that can be linked to computers, and you can create multiple different varieties of coding instruction for devices.

I am exited about seeing the outcome of the robotics when the construction of the circuits and wires are completed (what will happen).

I think it will be a difficult task to conjoin the wires.

Planet earth and beyond

WALT: What makes a habitable planet?

Multiple weeks ago, I have been working on this slide, however I have never completed posting it to my blog. I have found researching about our planet fun, and I have learnt many things I the process. I seem to have a prominent interest in space, so I found inquiry for term 2 engaging and fascinating. I especially enjoyed learning about gravity, and It was very interesting.

Dream Bedroom

WALT: show our creativity with an online audience

For this task Huia Whanau were to create and design a dream bedroom for a refugee by using a medium of our choice. The majority of the class had chosen tinkercad as a way of creating it, but Joshua and I chose to make it on paper, because we felt that it would prove to long and difficult digitally. However, the side effects of creating a paper sketch is that it is inconspicuous, and won't show up very well in a photo. Our bedroom is very large, and indeed there is a bedroom which is in a bedroom inside of a bedroom, and our bedroom is as large as many houses. The bedroom could be anything we desire, and Joshua and I decided that the refugee in question was very similar to us, so we made the bedroom fit for a multi-billionaire. 

About the bedroom:

At the entrance to the bedroom, there are white glossy doors with golden door handles, and when you enter, you will notice there are 3 stairs made from white marble with gold lining, and there are also 2 Romanian pillars. Next to the entrance, there is a small office room with screen that shows what the security cameras have visually captured. There are security cameras in every single room, and there is also a siri-like system called AVIS, which stands for automated voice intelligence system. AVIS is voice activated, and she can control anything in the house; e.g. lights, TV, fogging up windows (as the house is mostly glass), etc. Touch-screen control panels are in every single room, and you can choose between accessing these tasks manually or by AVIS. There is also a huge white grand piano, near the entrance. There is a full-sized bathroom, a mini-kitchen, 4K Televisions in most rooms.
