Her family and friends struggle to live through the cold winter and bombing by the Germans. She goes from making tanks in Kirov, to searching for her twin brother Pasha in Luga, working as a nurse in Grechesky hospital and becoming a red cross nurse on the front lines
8 june	Stink the incredible shrinking kid By Megan Mcdonald	A young kid named Stink is the same age the other students in his class,but he dislikes the fact that he is 20 centimetres shorter than everybody else. One day he wakes up and he’s shrunk about 1 centimetre. He hears about a scientific belief, but he struggles to believe it. He cheers up after he gets a pet called Newton, a tiny red-spotted baby salamander
